Next Generation Ground Heating System
The GW1000 Ground Heating System is the
hydronic heating solution to keep your crews
working all winter long. The GW1000 features
a 7' x 14' tandem axle trailer, 233,000 BTU
cast iron boiler, 4 x 90 lbs. propane tanks, 180
gallon insulated aluminum glycol holding tank,
3000' of hose, and a 4 zone distribution mani-
fold. The GW1000 is a self contained unit that
requires only one external 120V power source.
Winter Utility Ground Thawing
Applications
- Thaw Frozen Ground
- Pre-Heat the Ground for a Concrete Pour
- Consistent Heat for Curing Concrete
- Warming and Thawing Trenches and Footings
- Temporary Heat
- Heating for Walls and Forms
How Does it Work?
Park the trailer close to the area you want heated and start up the boiler
to begin heating the glycol. The boiler uses propane to heat the glycol and
stores it in an insulated holding tank. Lay out your hose in a snake-like pat-
tern with rows two feet to four feet apart depending on the amount of heat
desired. Attach both ends of the hose to the distribution manifold on the
trailer to form a continuous loop. Cover the area with insulating blankets to
maximize the heating effect. Simply open both the supply and return valves
on the manifold to begin circulating the preheated glycol. The hose will now
quickly heat up and the insulating blanket traps the heat against the ground
surface.
Why buy a GW1000?
The GW1000 has the lowest initial cost of any solution on the market. It is
quiet, easy to use and built to last like the vehicles that
car hire dublin and other car-based companies
use to stay competitive in the market and maintain outstanding service. This is truely the next generation ground
heating system. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. Why pay more
for solutions that have features you'll never use? This is the right solution for the
majority of applications, at a price point that just makes sense.
